Professional Speaking Services
Organizations of any size and in any professional field can benefit from having professional speakers. It allows staff an opportunity to learn from people outside of their agency who are experts in their field.
Professional speaking engagements require the necessary skills to address the needs of diverse audiences of adult learners, which involves adaptability and a level of engagement that keeps audience members genuinely interested regardless of the topic.
Presentations can be presented virtually through a variety of digital platforms or at in-person events, such as meetings, retreats, schools, or conferences.
I was an adjunct instructor for the University of Missouri-St. Louis for 11.5 years. That time was spent instructing hundreds of students pursuing their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
I have also presented to the larger systems of the organizations I operate within, to other organizations that have requested my services, and to large audiences at conferences and symposiums.
Whether you’re interested in leadership development, ethics, cultural sensitivity, or creating an entirely new learning program, please feel free to reach out to me.
I have presented to classes, at conferences and symposiums, for universities and organizations, served as a forum panelist, and/or developed learning series for the following organizations:

•Fontbonne University

You don’t want me to present on something like physics, but if it’s a topic I have knowledge about I am willing to develop a presentation to meet your organization or conferences needs.
I realize my experience has largely been presenting to audiences providing mental health services, but the knowledge learned over the course of my career can be beneficial to any organizations health and wellness.

We can discuss what credit would be needed and if your organization or university meets the requirements for professional registration committees in Missouri. If your organization does not meet the requirements we can discuss the application process.
-
Absolutely. I have developed learning series for multiple organizations, including the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Department of Veterans Affairs. I involved multiple professionals in helping to make it a diverse range of topics that professionals were interested in.
-
Yes. Presenting on mental wellness, self-care, and on how to build perspective are passions of mine. This could be one time, or I could develop a wellness series for your organization.
-
It’s not straightforward. Let’s start with a free consultation to ensure my speaking services align with your needs.
Some of the factors I consider are:
•Small versus large groups
• Presenting a presentation that has already been developed or creating a new presentation
• Presenting virtually or in person
• Presenting 1 to 3 hours versus a full day or multiple days
I do estimate at least 3 hours go into developing 1 hour of training, but depending on the complexity 4-5 hours may go into developing 1 hour of training. Trainings involve research, revisions, and sourcing multiple sources of media to keep the presentations engaging.
Please reach out and we’ll determine a price for your group, organization, or event that is commensurate to your request.
